		Within the EU jurisdiction it has not been permissible to sell or install rigid radiator guards and brush guards as of January 1 2002 within the scope of a voluntary program for European motor vehicle manufacturers. This does not affect replacement of radiator guards and brush guards already installed on December 31 2001 in the event of accident damage, repair and warranty.
	Remove
1	Remove front bumper
	Remove/install front bumper		AR88.20-P-2000GJ
2	Remove front license plate mount
3.1	Remove noise encapsulation	Model 163.113/128
	Remove/install noise encapsulation		AR94.30-P-5400GH
3.2	Remove bottom engine compartment paneling	Models 163.157/175
	Remove/install bottom engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105GH
	Convert
4	Convert front bumper		AZ88.30-P-0001-01E
	Install
5	Install left brush guard mount (1) and right brush guard mount (2) into holes of front cross member.
6	Slide left mount (3) and right mount (4) onto inner, bottom  stud bolts of the brush guard mount.
7	Fasten left and right brush guard mount and left mount (3) and right mount (4) to cross member with washers (5) and nuts (6) enclosed.	Do not yet tighten nuts.
8	Install front bumper
	Remove/install front bumper		AR88.20-P-2000GJ
9	Slide enclosed rubber grommets over upper assembly arm (8) on brush guard (9).
10	Fasten upper mounting arm (8) to brush guard mount with screw (10).	Do not yet tighten screws.
11	Fasten bottom mounting arms (11) to left mount (3) and right mount (4) with screw (12).	Do not yet tighten screws.
12	Align brush guard (9) at bumper and tighten all screws and nuts	Ensure that rubber grommets make contact to the upper assembly arm (8) of the bumper and cover holes

13.1	Install noise encapsulation	Model 163.113/128
	Remove/install noise encapsulation		AR94.30-P-5400GH
13.2	Install lower engine-compartment encapsulation panel	Models 163.157/175
	Remove/install bottom engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105GH
14	Fasten adapter for license plate mount with enclosed screws.
15	Install license plate mount
