Electronic Traction System (ETS) Malfunction Indicator Light

Indicator light comes on when ignition is turned on, and goes out when engine is started. If ETS malfunction indicator light comes on while ESP/ETS warning light is flashing (ETS is in operation), the ETS system is being temporarily switched off to prevent overheating of drive wheel brakes. If ETS malfunction indicator light comes on while engine is running and ESP/ETS warning light is not flashing, a malfunction has been detected in ETS system.
