Anti-theft alarm (ATA) diagnosis operational check - AD80.50-P-3000GH

MODEL 163 with CODE (551a) anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE Location of components, ATA   GF80.50-P-0001-02GH 
  Diagnosis, previous knowledge, ATA   AD80.50-P-2000GH 
  Battery voltage 11-14V    
INSPECT Fuses in order    
  AAM voltage supply in order   AD54.21-P-6000-01GH
IMPORTANT Variant coding "ATA fitted"   AD54.21-P-2000-02GH
IMPORTANT Radio frequency/infrared remote control in order   AD80.35-P-1001GHZ 
IMPORTANT Electric central locking in order   AD80.20-P-1001GHZ 
IMPORTANT Side windows open    
IMPORTANT All doors closed

Scope of test  Operation/Requirement  Specified value  Possible cause/Remedy 
Arm ATA Lock vehicle completely with remote control. Visual feedback via turn signal system, ATA status indicator (E33) illuminates for 10 seconds and then flashes. One door is not closed and/or locked properly ATA not armed

Disarm ATA Unlock vehicle with remote control. Visual feedback via turn signal system ATA status indicator (E33) illuminates for 10 seconds. AD80.50-P-6000-07GH 
Alarm triggering by opening a door Close all doors. Arm ATA with remote control.
Open one door from inside.
ATA triggers alarm: Alarm horn (H3) for 30 seconds and turn signal indicators for 3.5 minutes. AD80.50-P-5000GH 
Terminate alarm Disarm or arm ATA with remote control during alarm. Alarm is terminated All-Activity-Module (AAM) (N10)
Self-arming Remove transmitter key from ignition lock.
Close all the vehicle doors and wait for 60 seconds.
Vehicle locks automatically, ATA is armed Check variant coding

Vehicles with code 882 (interior protection)       
Alarm triggered by anti-towing sensor (TS) With ATA armed, using a jack tilt vehicle until one wheel is clear of the ground. ATA triggers alarm: Alarm horn (H3) for 30 seconds and turn signal indicators for 3.5 minutes. AD80.50-P-6000-22GH 
Switching off anti-towing sensor and interior motion sensor Switch off ignition and press a button on the trip computer control module (TRIP) (N41) within 30 seconds Vehicles with  code 245 (trip computer) only: Display changes from "ON" to "OFF" on display of trip computer control module (TRIP) (N41)
Vehicles without  code 245: Repeat previous check (alarm triggered by anti-towing sensor); alarm should not be triggered.
