Damage code	Cause	Remedy
54 691 EG	PTS sensors A42b2 (center left sensor on front bumper), A42b3 (inside left sensor on front bumper), A42b4 (inside right sensor on front bumper) and/or A42b5 (center right sensor on front bumper) react too sensitively.	If a fault code is stored in the PTS control unit (e.g. sensor faulty), it is not necessary to install a less sensitive sensor.
		1 Check PTS sensors for their sensitivity	AF54.65-P-2002-01A
		2 Remove/install/replace PTS sensors. Install less sensitive sensors. Do not install any less sensitive sensors into the rear bumper. Warranty and goodwill regulations for Parktronic sensors. No license plate frame should be installed on the front bumper and no faults should be stored in the Parktronic control unit (N62).	SI54.65-P-0002A
