Damage code	Cause	Remedy
	Engine complaints can occur due to moisture getting into position sensor connector (L5, 2-pin).	As a remedy, perform repair described; do no replace entire engine wiring harness.
	Following DTC may be stored: ME: P0335	1 Disconnect connector from crankshaft position sensor (L5).
		2 Open insulating tubing. Approx. 120 mm from crankshaft position sensor connector (L5), avoid damaging wires
		3 Cut wires and strip off insulation.
		4 Connect ends of wires from engine wiring harness with ends of wires from repair wiring harness. Pay attention to color code, use connectors included. Observe installation instructions "Wire connectors 54.3" in Special Equipment volume 4.
		5 Seal wiring harness with insulating tape.
		6 Check for proper contact at crankshaft position sensor (L5).
		Moisture present. ↓ 7.1 Blow out contacts with compressed air.
		Traces of oxidation present. ↓ 8.1 Replace crankshaft position sensor (L5).
