Prepare test with quiescent current retention unit - AR54.10-P-1030-01GH

1. Connect the quiescent current retention unit (7) as follows:
   • Connect clip on positive lead (+) to positive terminal on battery.
   • Connect clip of negative line (-) to ground (right major assemblies compartment, common ground (W16/4).
2. Switch on quiescent current retention unit (7).

3. Disconnect negative terminal (1) on the battery.
4. Connect multimeter (2) as follows, for this purpose use the electrical connect set:
   • Connect positive test cable (+) to negative battery cable (1).
   • Connect negative test cable (-) to negative battery terminal (3).

5. Switch on multimeter (2) (measuring range in amperes).
6. Switch off and disconnect quiescent current retention unit (7)
7. Route measuring cable (6) to the right out of the engine compartment.
8. Close engine hood.
