Route guidance in digitized map area, function - GF82.61-P-4000E

MODEL 208, 210with CODE (352a) COMAND operating and display system except CODE (498) Japanese version 

In the case of journeys within the digitized map area, the following information, which is calculated by the navigation processor  , is available to the user:

• Current position and route of vehicle on digital map (illustrated graphically)
• Route list
• Distance from the destination and likely time up to arrival
• Recommendation for driving direction
• Arrow indicating driving direction
• Name of the road currently being traveled along
• Street name at which vehicle should turn next
• Distance to next turning point) specifications in units of length or beam diagram)

Supplement  only ; as of 01.06.01 magnetic direction N  orth, S  outh, E  ast and W  est indicated (with graphic illustration and voice output). The magnetic direction is only indicated for numbered streets. The magnetic direction is not specified or illustrated for streets (e.g. within cities).

The graphic signals for map depiction are generated by the navigation processor  . Three types of depiction are possible:

• Symbolic depiction (guidance symbol)
• Map depiction
• Combination of map depiction and symbolic depiction

The scale of the map can be changed in increments (100 m/cm to 500 km/cm).  It is also possible to select whether the map is aligned in the direction of travel (head up) or towards the north (north up).

Blaupunkt Travelpilot DX- navigation CD 

With this CD divided lanes in opposite directions (fine geometry) are illustrated automatically.

Supplement;  as of 01.06.01 COMAND  functions are supplemented. The CD type (with up-to-date fine geometry) is recognized automatically and depicted with optimized second line thickness

Actual route guidance is significantly supported via voice output  .
