An improved fit-on reliability and leaktightness is provided as a phased-in measure for the charge air hoses, charge air lines, intercooler and hose clips on the engines stated above.

Only the new versions will be available as replacement parts.

If problems exist, seal only the affected charge air connection point. Slight quantities of oil in the charge air system come from the crankcase ventilation. Do not replace turbocharger.

The fit-on length has been increased from 22 mm to 30 mm.

The charge air hoses have an 1.5 mm deep groove (arrow) for the hose clips.
