Brake shudder in cold state - AF42.10-P-3103A

Damage code Cause Remedy:  
42 101 H4 Thickness error in brake disk
IMPORTANT
On model 210, the noise characteristics when the brakes shudder is slightly different than on the other models. During a test drive it is not always possible to clearly locate whether the shuddering comes from the front or rear axle
1 Check vehicle on dynamometer
If complaint is reproducible ↓
2 Measure lateral runout on rear axle brake disk (1 cm from edge of brake disk)
IMPORTANT
If the lateral runout is > 0.08 mm ↓
 
    3 Replace wheel hub, wheel bearing and brake disk
If lateral runout is < 0.08 mm ↓

    4 Replace brake disk only

Brake lining can be reused
