Converting rear bumper - AZ88.00-P-0001-03G

Model 210 up to 31.5.99 

Preparation 

1. Loosen inner trunk paneling so that mounting screws in standard bumper are accessible.
2. Unscrew standard bumper. For this purpose loosen mounting nuts on rear wall of trunk.

   We recommend that two mechanics remove the bumper to avoid damage to the vehicle.

3. Disassemble bumper.
4. Remove impact dampers.
5. Remove outer molding:

   Pull off side mounting clips and retaining lugs in pairs with screwdriver. Remove molding.

6. Drill out rivets in mount and remove mount.
7. Remove chrome-plated trim panels, gap cover on the "Elegance" and "Avantgarde" equipment lines.

Assembly 

8. Install mount:

   Fasten mount with rivets included.

9. Install protective moldings:

   Insert outer impact damper and clip in molding. Secure molding with clips.

10. Install chrome-plated trim panels and gap covers.
11. Hook in impact dampers.

Adaptation, final assembly 

12. Lightly screw preinstalled bumper to original mounting points.
13. Perform visual check, if applicable align rear skirts.
14. Tighten mounting nuts.
15. Reinstall inner trunk paneling.
