Test Preparation

CAUTION: To avoid damaging control modules all electrical testing should be done with a DVOM. DO NOT use an analog meter or test light to check control module circuits.

Before performing FUNCTION TESTS review the following data and test procedures:

COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
SYMPTOM INDEX (Complaint Related Diagnostics).
BRAKE ASSIST (BAS), ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM (ESP) & SPEED SENSITIVE POWER STEERING (SPS) ELECTRICAL TESTS PROGRAM (SECTION 23) .
