Removal & Installation (CLK Class)
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Unhook control cable from parking brake release lever and remove release lever guide. Remove cover from left end of instrument panel. Turn plastic screw 90 degrees and remove cover on air outlet in driver's side footwell.
- Pull cover below left side of instrument panel back and remove screw above handle. Unhook handle from cover and guide through cover. Remove cover. Remove screws from light module switch trim panel and remove light module switch trim panel.
- Remove screws holding light module and pull light module out toward front. See Figure . Disconnect light module electrical connectors. If necessary, remove driver's side instrument panel bottom portion screws and pull bottom portion out to access light module electrical connector. Remove light module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
