	Check
1	Remove ignition key from ignition switch	Do not store the ignition key in the vehicle during the duration of test otherwise person(s) may be locked out of the passenger compartment
2	Check activate button	Activate buttons are located in the front left and right at the bottom of the dashboard and on the center tunnel in the rear. Press the activate button in sequence respectively. After the respective button operation the central locking must lock completely, the intercom system must switch to reception, the acoustic signaling horn and the hazard warning system with high beam must switch to intermittent, see: ↓

3	Check communication system	With a second assistant check the voice function from the outside inwards and from the inside outwards. After checking the communication system insert the microphone again in the bracket in the glove box. Pay attention to the correct installation position.
4	Operate central locking	Upon completion of the test the vehicle must be unlocked and locked from outside using the DAS [FBS] key.
