MODIFICATION NOTES

Engine 111.973: Loosen coolant expansion reservoir, loosen charge air hoses, loosen engine mount and raise engine at front lifting eye added.

Operation steps 2.1, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4

	Remove/install
1	Remove air filter	Disconnect suction and pressure line at compressor and close openings at compressor.	AR09.10-P-1050GA
2.1	Loosen coolant expansion reservoir and place to one side	Engine 111.943/973
2.2	Disconnect valve for secondary air injection (50/4) at intake connection fitting and detach vacuum hose (50/5)	Engine 111.975
3	Remove cover on sensor panel upstream of cylinder head
4	Disconnect connector for electromagnetic clutch
5	Remove fan shroud	Installation: Adjust fan shroud in the middle.	AR20.40-P-6800HA

7	Remove poly-V-belt on supercharger		AR13.21-P-1202A

8	Check poly-V-belt and belt pulley for damage and replace if necessary

10.1	Loosen charge air hoses at charge air cooler	Engine 111.943/973

12.1	Raise engine at front lifting eye	Engine 111.943/973 Ensure that the rear of engine does not touch the body. Do not overstretch coolant hoses. Observe tension on hose connected to power steering pump and loosen if necessary.

13	Remove pressure connection at compressor		AR09.50-P-8831A
14	Place coolant hose from radiator to coolant pump to the side	Do not damage coolant hose and radiator.
15	Remove compressor	Lift compressor and remove at the top. Installation: Insert lower mounting bolts before installing in the supercharger.
