Steering Angle Sensor

If power supply to steering angle sensor is disconnected, steering angle sensor must be reactivated. With a power disruption, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) module switches to a malfunction mode. The BAS/ESP indicator light will illuminate. To activate steering angle sensor, start engine and idle. Turn steering wheel lock-to-lock. The steering angle sensor is reactivated. The BAS/ESP indicator light will go out.
