BAS/Esp Malfunction Indicator Light

Indicator light comes on when ignition is turned on, and goes out when engine is started. If Brake Assist System/Electronic Stability Program (BAS/ESP) malfunction light comes on while engine is running, a malfunction has been detected in either system. Only partial engine output will be available.

Whenever Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is turned off, due to ABS malfunction or charging system voltage dropping to less than 10 volts, ESP system will also be turned off.
