Damage code	Cause	Remedy
	Standstill calibration of gyrosensor erroneous.	1 Perform check according to Diagnosis Manual. No DTC can be recognized: ↓
		2 Request detailed information from customer When and in what driving situation did the indicator lamp come on. The DTC C1120 entry can be caused by erroneous standstill calibration of gyrosensor. This can occur when the vehicle is driven up a steep incline and through a 90° left or right curve immediately after starting the engine. In such cases the indicator lamp may come on after driving straight ahead for approx. 100 m and the above DTC is stored. Replacing sensor or ESP control module does not solve problem. Control modules with modified software are in preparation. A small quantity is available from GLC Germersheim.. Changeover will be accomplished in production successively up to 05/00.
		Install new control modules only when information from customer coincides with DTC stored. ↓ 3 Replace control module. Possible bottlenecks can be expected under certain circumstances up to changeover in production. Include DTC memory printout with control modules and sensors sent in. In the event of failure to observe or unjustified replacement we reserve the right to debit your account.
