Damage code	Cause	Remedy
43 181 73	Internal communication momentarily interrupted in ESP control unit	1 Erase fault memory.
	While driving or after the vehicle is started the AS indicator lamp can come on in individual cases and the ESP/BAS/AS DTC's may be indicated on the multifunction display.	2 Remove; install, replace control unit.
	Production tolerances of a condensator in the Teves-ESP control unit can lead to switch-off of the control unit with error entry C1000-008 at high temperatures.	Use control unit with improved condensator, can be recognized by modified Q-status (imprint on control unit) The modified control units are immediately available.
	After the control unit has cooled down and the ignition is started again the ESP system is fully ready for operation. The DTC remains stored in the DTC memory.	Please note that the part number on the control unit refers to control unit assembly set and the hydraulic unit and deviates from the above part number There are reasons for this.
