Removing control modules from control module box - AR54.20-P-1257-01D

CFI control module (N3, depending on version and model: IFI control module (N3/7), DFI control module (N3/8), HFM-SFI engine control module (N3/4), ME-SFI control module (N3/10), PEC control module (N3/6) and traction system control module (N47) 

IMPORTANT The CFI control module (N3) and traction system control module (N47) are mounted on one bracket (5) and must be removed together.

  1. Release connector (3) on CFI control module (N3).
  2. Swing connector (3) to side until it releases from the male connector on the CFI control module (N3).
  3. Pull out slide locks (located below cable entry) on the two connectors (10) on the traction system control module (N47) to the stop and pull off connectors.
  4. Unscrew screw (7) and pull bracket (5) with the two control modules up out of the guides in the control module box.

Relay module (K40) 

  1. Disconnect connectors (8) and connections on relay module (K40).
  2. Remove relay module (K40) from control module box.
