Remove front seat |

Remove seat adjustment mechanism on front seat |

Lay seat cushion down on suitable surface with cover pointing downward |

Unscrew screws (1) on mount for multipoint connector (2) and remove mount together with multipoint connector (2) from cushion frame (4) |

| 5 |
Unhook cover (3) from clip channel (arrows) all the way around the cushion frame (4) |
Relieve tension on cover by pressing cushion frame down. |

| 6 |
Remove cushion frame (4) from rubberized fiber matting (5) |
|
|
| 7 |
Pull Velcro strips (6) off of rubberized fiber matting (5) |
|
|
| 8 |
Remove cover (3) over outer edge of rubberized fiber matting (5) and fold toward center |
|
|
| 9 |
Unhook longitudinal and lateral retaining wires |
Press upholstery clips (7) to side with awl (open) and unhook retaining wire. |
|
| 10 |
Remove cover (3) from rubberized fiber matting (5) and pull retaining wires out of cover. |

Installation |
|
|
| 11 |
Push retaining wires (5 each) into fabric tubes on cover (3) and align |
|
|
| 12 |
Press upholstery clips (7, 12 each) into rear of rubberized fiber matting (5) |
|
|
| 13 |
Position cover (3) on rubberized fiber matting (5) and align |
|
|
| 14 |
Hook retaining wires into upholstery clips (7) |
Start with lateral retaining wires |
|
| 15 |
Fasten cover (3) to rubberized fiber matting (5) with Velcro strips (6) |
|
|
| 16 |
Pull cover (3) over outer edge of rubberized fiber matting at side and front |
|
|
| 17 |
Insert cushion frame (4) into rubberized fiber matting (5) |
Foam rubber wedge (8, 2 each) and insulating mat (9) inserted and glued into cushion frame (4). |

Hook cover (3) into clip channel all the way around while pressing down cushion frame (4) and also insert one retaining clip (10) at front |
|
|
| 19 |
Screw mount for multipoint connector (2) onto cushion frame (4) |
|
|
| 20 |
Install seat adjustment mechanism on front seat |
Check plastic mounting plate (11) on left and right on cushion frame (4) and install, if necessary |

Reinstall front seat |
