| 1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | ||

| 3 | Pull off door foil in area of door lock and disconnect door control module (N69/1, N69/2) | ||
| 4 | Disconnect lock switch connector (S86/1x1, S87/1x1) and expose lead | ||
| 5 | Pull lock switch (S86/1, S87/1) off of door lock | For this purpose press the catch lug on the switch housing behind the electrical lead for the lock switch outward | |
| 6 | Reinstall in opposite order | ||
| 7 | Check central locking for proper function |
