Instrument Cluster
- Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove steering wheel, steering column upper and lower covers and surrounding covers. See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article.
- Lift clips at lower edge of instrument cluster trim. See Fig 1
. Remove trim downward. Remove bolts at lower edge of instrument cluster and remove expanding clips from top retainers.
- Pull instrument cluster forward and disconnect electrical connectors. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure clips on instrument cluster trim engage with "click" sound.
