Secondary unlocking for version with locking bar (JPT)
- Using a suitable tool, move locking bar (1) in direction of arrow out of locked position.

Secondary release on version with retaining cap (JPT)
- Using a suitable tool, pry up the lock tab on the retaining cap (6).
- Move the retaining cap (6) in direction of arrow until it reaches the stop.

Secondary unlocking for version with lock tab
- Insert suitable tool underneath locking tabs (1).
- Pry up the locking tabs (1) in direction shown by arrow.

Unpin contact pins form connector (JPT)
- Insert blade holder with clamping pliers
with JPT/SPT blade
or MCP 2.8/Fl. 2.8/JPT/SPT blade
from the front through the openings in contact cavity of connector housing (3).
This results in the spring shackles of the contact pin (2) being compressed.
- Remove contact pin (2) from connector housing (3) by gently pulling the relevant cable.
