Test 8: Can "L" Data Line, Motor Electronics Activation

(SHORT TO VOLTAGE)

Disconnect ignition lock control module connector "C". Disconnect engine control module connectors. Measure resistance between positive battery terminal and ignition lock control module connector "C", terminal No. 2. Resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. If resistance is as specified, motor electronics activation data line is okay at this time. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
