Test 3: Left Front Door Lock Switch (Lock Nut Switch Circuit)

  1. Disconnect left front door lock switch connector. Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2 at driver's side door control module connector No. 2, located inside left front door. With left front door lock switch in rest position, resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. With door lock switch in unlocked position, resistance should be less than one ohm.
  2. Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 and 3 at driver's side door control module connector No. 2. With left front door lock switch in rest position, resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. With door lock switch in locked position, resistance should be less than one ohm. If resistance is as specified, left front door lock switch is okay at this time. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check left front door lock switch.
