Test 16: Ignition Lock Control Module (Circuit No. 50)
- Disconnect connector C3 from driver's side fuse and relay module box. Disconnect ignition lock control module connector "B". Measure resistance between relay module box connector C3, terminal No. 10 and ignition lock control module connector "B", terminal No. 9. Resistance should be less than one ohm. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Ensure ignition is off. Measure resistance between ground and relay module box connector C3, terminal No. 10. Resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check ignition lock control module.
- Measure resistance between positive battery terminal and relay module box connector C3, terminal No. 10. Resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. If resistance is as specified, ESC control module circuit No. 50 is okay at this time. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check ignition lock control module.
