Test 10: Can "L" Data Line, Motor Electronics Activation

(SHORT TO GROUND)

Disconnect ignition lock control module connector "C". Disconnect engine control module connectors. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 2 at ignition lock control module connector No. 2. Resistance should be more than 20 k/ohms. If resistance is as specified, motor electronics activation data line is okay at this time. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
