Owing to the precise tolerances the vehicle should not be subjected to an alignment check after the steering knuckle has been installed

	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	The damper must be installed to remove the steering knuckle
1	Remove front wheel
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050Z
2	Remove brake disc		AR42.10-P-0220A
3	Remove front wheel hub (9)		AR33.20-P-0310A
4	Remove brake caliper dust shield (35)		*BA42.10-P-1003-06A
5	Detach left front rpm sensor (L6/1) and brake lining wear indicator		*BA42.30-P-1001-01A
6	Remove tie rod (10) from steering knuckle (5)	Check rubber boot and ball joint for wear and damage.	*BA46.40-P-1002-01A
