Tachometer Inaccurate Or Inoperative

If tachometer is inaccurate or inoperative, check the following items and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Check speed signal. Perform TEST 4  under SYSTEM TEST.
• Check electronic circuit board.
• Replace tachometer.
