- Ensure that the shim (31a) on the end face of the differential housing is properly seated (arrow).
- Check axial play between the connecting flange and differential side gear, installing a thicker or thinner circlip (30), if necessary.
The axial play must be within the specified tolerance range.
Locking rings are available in thicknesses ranging from 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm in 0.05 mm graduations.
