C230, C280, E300 Diesel, E300TD, E320, E420 & E430

Remove bottom rear seat cushion and remove access panel. Using an Allen wrench, turn locking pin approximately one turn clockwise. At the same time push locking pin back until spring-loaded locking eccentric ratchet locks into place in spring clip. See Fig 2.
