The cable routing to the electrical switch (S2/1x1) has been modified with the introduction of knee protection and model 129.076. The protective sleeve is fitted turned through 180°. The control cable connection for the parking lock and the parking lock in the steering lock itself has therefore had to be positioned offset by 180°.
Since 09/94, only parts of the 4th version of the steering lock with protective sleeve are still available as spare parts. Steering lock parts of the 1st-3rd version are no longer available.
When the 1st-3rd version of a steering lock is replaced by the 4th version, advise the vehicle owner about the larger turn of the steering wheel when the steering lock is engaged.
