1	Switch on lights	Visual inspection
2	Determine defective circuit
3	Switch off lights	Diagnosis of xenon headlamps, see Diagnosis Manual for Body.
4	Check bulbs and fuses	Test for vehicles with trailer coupling: ↓ Checking exterior lamp failure indicator The lamps are monitored individually by the lamp monitoring unit (N7). In the case of low power (low watt) bulbs, this may be displayed as a fault. No fault is displayed for higher power lamps. Lamps and fuses OK ↓ Check cables as per wiring diagram for open circuit, short circuit and correct connection. See Wiring Diagrams for model 129	*BE82.10-P-1004-01D
