INSPECT Inspect    
1 Connect vacuum tester (030) to brake booster (16) IMPORTANT Reduce vacuum of brake pedal by pressing pedal several times. AR43.10-P-0024-01GH

Risk of accident.  Accidents may result if the vehicle starts off unintentionally with the engine running. Risk of injury  as working around the engine during start-up or while running may result in contusions and burns Start the engine and produce a vacuum of 0.75...0.80 bar by accelerating and suddenly releasing the accelerator pedal Secure vehicle to prevent it moving off. Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.
IMPORTANT Reduce vacuum > 0.8 bar by pressing brake pedal.

3 Switch off engine IMPORTANT Vacuum must not drop by more than 0.2 bar within 30 seconds.
If vacuum loss is > 0.2 bar, replace vacuum line: ↓
Check brake booster if necessary.

4 Disconnect vacuum tester (030) from brake booster (16)   AR43.10-P-0024-01GH
