Raise and support vehicle. Remove exhaust heat shield and detach exhaust system as necessary. Using an Allen wrench, turn locking pin approximately one half a turn counterclockwise. At the same time push locking pin back until spring-loaded locking eccentric ratchet locks into place in spring clip. See Figure.
