Adjusting wiper arm - AR82.30-P-6100-02E

Adjustment of the angle of incidence of the wiper arm is always done in the center position and only in event of deviation of test value from tolerance range in center position.

Use adjuster lever (Z4) from adjustment tool set.

In right-hand drive vehicles the sign for the test and adjustment values must be changed.

1. Set adjuster lever (Z4) as far apart as possible on the wiper arm (1) to be adjusted.

   Distortion of the wiper arm (1) is done using the adjuster lever (Z4), which was positioned close to the angle measuring device (A). The second adjuster lever (Z4) is used as a counterholder.

2. Press adjuster lever (Z4) in required direction until the correct adjustment value is displayed on the scale of the angle measuring device (A).
3. Remove adjuster lever (Z4) from wiper arm (1).
4. Read off angle of incidence of wiper arm (1) again on scale of angle measuring device (A), correct if necessary.
5. Remove angle measuring device (A) with adapter from wiper arm (1) and lock wiper arm (1) in raised position.
