Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off complete lighting system. Wear insulating safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. | 7 | Detach electrical connections (2) from lamp unit (E1 or E2) | ||
| 8.1 | Detach vacuum line (3) of headlamp range adjustment | with pneumatic headlamp range adjustment | |
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 10 | Perform function check on lamp unit | ||
