Brake system, Checking the fluid level - wh4210pkw0000x(4210)

Model 107 from 8/85; 123; 124, 129, 140 up to 6/93; 126 from 9/85; 201 from 1/85

Fluid level check.
IMPORTANT Causes for extremely low brake fluid level may be: The brake fluid level should be between the "max." and "min." marks on the brake fluid supply reservoir (10).
  • Brake pads or discs worn
  • Inner or outer leakage in brake system
 
If fluid level is too low eliminate cause.
Cap check. Ensure that hole is not clogged (arrow) on caps with vent hole (up to approx. 09/90).
