Removing and installing lock cylinder on glove compartment lid - AR68.10-P-1250E

REMOVING Removal    
1 Open glove compartment lid (2) and unscrew screws (1)    
2 Remove housing (4) on glove compartment lid (2)    
3 Cut notch in driver lug (3) with knife at point marked (arrow), break open with combination pliers and completely remove    
4 Insert ignition key into lock cylinder (5) and remove lock cylinder (5) from lock housing (4) with key    
INSTALLING Installation     
5 Insert lock cylinder (5) into housing (4) with ignition key so that lug (arrow) on left makes contact with housing stop    
6 Remove ignition key and secure lock cylinder (5) from falling out with adhesive tape    
7 Position housing (4) with handle side (6) on suitable surface    
8 Install new driver lug (3) with installation tool (7) on lock cylinder (5) and housing (4) so that it catches audibly

IMPORTANT Observe installation position for driver lug (3, figure, arrow).  
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Lock cylinder   WF58.50-P-6810-01A
9 Remove adhesive tape and position housing (4) on glove compartment lid (2) and screw in screws (1)    
10 Carry out function check
