REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing     
1 Remove, install front axle   AR33.10-P-0100A
MEASURING Measuring     
2 Set up Celette straightening bench modular members    
3 Install and secure checking fixtures (016, 017) in the mounting bores of the Celette straightening bench SPECIAL TOOL The front axle carrier is to be measured on a Celette straightening bench. We recommend carrying out this work before or after straightening bench work on the vehicle concerned. Fig 2
4 Place front axle carrier complete (with front axle halves and rubber mounts) or as an individual part on the checking fixtures.   *BE40.30-P-1001-08A 
5 Check bearing bracket of steering idler arm mount using a shop-made alignment tool. The alignment tool must align with the right-angled contour of the front axle cross member (arrow).
