Detaching and attaching lower steering shaft - AR46.10-P-0500-01B

TORQUE SPECIFICATION STEERING SHAFT

REMOVINGDetaching 

  1. Unscrew hexagon socket bolt (80c).
  2. Disconnect lower steering shaft.

INSTALLINGAttaching 

  1. 2 Push on lower steering shaft (80a) up to the retaining ring at the upper steering shaft.

    NOTES

    The hexagon socket bolt (80c, arrow) and the lug on the thrust ring (right arrow) must be in the same position.

    The disk spring must be fully preloaded; if necessary this should be fully preloaded by pressing against the steering shaft.

  2. 3 Screw in and tighten hexagon socket bolt.
