	Remove, Install
1.1	Remove the fan shroud (3) and put it above the fan (1)	For vehicles with a one-piece fan shroud
1.2	Turn the fan shroud ring (3a) from the locking studs on the fan shroud, remove together with the fan shroud	In case of vehicles with split fan shroud Installation: Ensure that the fan shroud ring (3a) is correctly located in the locking studs of the fan shroud (3).
2	Insert the counterholder (9) at the coolant pump belt pulley		Figure
3	Unscrew the viscous fan clutch (2) with the fan (1) and remove	Loosen the center screw with a screw driver (6) or with a screw driver bit (7) and torque wrench (8).	Figure

		Remove the viscous fan clutch together with the fan shroud.

4	Unscrew the fan (1) at the viscous fan clutch (2)	Installation: The installation position of the fan is marked by the lug on the fan ring and by the marking "VORNE FRONT" (in the direction of travel on the fan ring).

5	Install in the reverse order
