Generator Indicator Lamp Malfunction

If generator indicator lamp is inoperative or stays on, check the following items and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Check electronic circuit board.
• Check charging system. See GENERATORS & REGULATORS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS.
• Check bulb.
• Check generator indicator circuit. Perform TEST 13  under SYSTEM TESTS.
