Test 9: Coolant Level Lamp Malfunction

Disconnect coolant level sensor harness connector. Using a jumper wire, bridge terminals at coolant level sensor harness connector. Start engine and let idle. If coolant level indicator lamp illuminates, replace coolant level sensor. If coolant level indicator lamp does not illuminate, check wiring and bulb. If wiring and bulb are okay, replace electronic circuit board.
