Test 14: SRS Lamp Malfunction

Using a jumper wire, ground terminal No. 30 at data link connector. See Figure . Start engine and let idle. If SRS lamp does not illuminate, check wiring and bulb. If wiring and bulb are okay, replace electronic circuit board. If SRS lamp illuminates, repair SRS system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
