Removing and installing steering angle sensor - AR46.10-P-0300B

MODEL 140.### ## up to 123446 with CODE (216b) Self-levelling suspension all-around, with adaptive damping system (ADS) 

MODEL 129.### ## as of 079795, 140.### ## as of 123447 with CODE (216c) Adaptive damping system (ADS II) with electronic level control 

MODEL 140, 210 with CODE (217a) Self-levelling suspension on rear axle with ADS 

MODEL 129, 140, 202, 208, 170, 210 with CODE (472a) Electronic Stability Program (ESP)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing     
1 Remove steering wheel Model 140 up to end no. 123446 AR46.10-P-0100A 
    Model 129 as of end no. 079795, model 140 as of end no. 123447, and models 202, 210 AR46.10-P-0100B 
    Models 170, 208 AR46.10-P-0100C 
2 Remove contact spiral (A45) together with the steering angle sensor (N49) Model 129 as of end no. 079795, model 140 as of end no. 123447, and models 202, 210 AR46.10-P-0200A 
    Models 170, 208 AR46.10-P-0200B 
3 Press steering angle sensor (N49) off contact spiral (A45) IMPORTANT The steering angle sensor is clipped onto the rear of the contact spiral.  
4 Install in the reverse order    
5.1 Activate steering angle sensor Vehicles with ADS or ESP AR46.10-P-0300-01A
