Supporting joint with integrated rebound stop, model 202 standardized with model 210.
The following modifications result:
- (as of 05/95) the welded-on stop pin is not used any more on the upper wishbone and the sheet metal thickness has been reduced from 3 mm to 2 mm.
- The stop bracket on the body is replaced by a simple cable bracket (since 06/95).
Function
A taper in the supporting joint housing (arrow) and an associated recess in the ball pin (7c) limit the rebound angle.
Only the revised upper wishbone and the revised supporting joint are supplied.
When replacing an upper wishbone on vehicles before the use of supporting joints with integrated rebound stop, the supporting joint must also be replaced.
