Brake Fluid/Parking Brake Indicator Lamp Malfunction

If brake fluid/parking brake indicator lamp is inoperative or stays on and brake fluid level is okay and parking brake is off, check the following items and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Check electronic circuit board.
• Check bulb.
• Check brake fluid level sensor and parking brake switch. Perform TEST 12  under SYSTEM TESTS.
