	Adjust in longitudinal direction
1	Loosen bolts (4) on left and right hinge lever (5)
2	Loosen bolts (1) at striker eye (2)
3	Screw in left and right rubber pads (3) by approx. 1 1/2 turn
4	Adjust trunk lid so that rear edge of trunk lid is flush with tail lamp and rear center section.	See areas B and C, simultaneously maintain gap Dimensions ↓	Figure
		Gap around hoods, doors, and lids Adjust installation position of trunk lid with eccentric bolts (8) for larger range of adjustment (see step 11-14).	AR60.00-P-0700-01E
5	Tighten bolts (4) on hinge lever (5)		*BA88.50-P-1001-01A
	Adjust height
6	Adjust front edge of trunk lid by aligning height of hinge lever so that outer edges are flush with rear fender	See area C, simultaneously maintain gap. Dimensions ↓	Figure
		Gap around hoods, doors, and lids Adjust installation position of trunk lid with eccentric bolts (8) for larger range of adjustment (see step 11-14).	AR60.00-P-0700-01E
7	Press trunk lid downward at rear until top edge of trunk lid is flush with rear fender.	See area D Bolts on striker eye loose
8	Adjust striker eye		AR88.50-P-5020E
9	Tighten bolts (1) at striker eye (2)		*BA88.50-P-1004-01A
10	Unscrew rubber buffer (3) until rubber buffers make contact when the trunk lid is closed	Minor deviations between the top of the trunk lid and rear fender from left to right can be adjusted by screwing the rubber buffers in or out slightly.
	Adjustment on eccentric bolts
11	Expose eccentric bolts
12	Loosen nut (6) on eccentric bolts (8)
13	Adjust installation position of trunk lid with eccentric bolts (8)	As described in step 1-9.
14	Tighten nut (6)		*BA88.50-P-1003-01A
15	Close trunk lid and check for proper function
