Removing and installing instrument cluster - AR54.30-P-6015EC

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation    
1 Disconnect ground lead from battery   AR54.10-P-0003A 
2.1 Completely pull out steering wheel Vehicles with mechanically adjustable steering column (CODE 441b)  
2.2 Remove steering wheel IMPORTANT Vehicles without mechanically adjustable steering (CODE 441b) AR46.10-P-0100B
    NOTES Caution when handling airbag unit. Improper handling can lead to damage to airbag unit  
3 Remove cover below instrument panel (driver's side)   AR68.10-P-1500G
4 Unscrew screws (3) for covering on instrument cluster (2)    
5 Remove covering on instrument cluster (2) toward front IMPORTANT For this purpose press instrument panel upward at center over instrument cluster  
6 Unscrew screws for instrument cluster (1)    
7 Remove instrument cluster (A1) toward front    
8 Unlock and disconnect electrical connectors (62, 63)    
9 Remove instrument cluster (A1) in direction of driver's door    
10 Reinstall in opposite order    
11 If necessary code instrument cluster with HHT See Diagnosis Manual
